Kolala Sridhar, MD, FACG, AGAF
Gastroenterology
Dr. Sridhar is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an active member of the American
College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Medical
Association. He has served as president of the New London County Medical Association.
Dr. Sridhar received his medical degree from the University of Mysore, India prior to
completing his residency in the Yale Affiliated Training Program in Internal Medicine
in 1981 and his Fellowship in Digestive and Liver Diseases at the Yale University School
of Medicine, CT in 1984.
You Sung Sang, MD, FACG, AGAF
Gastroenterology Dr. Sang is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an active member
of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and
American Medical Association. He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School
of Medicine, NY prior to completing his residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center, NY in
1993 and his Fellowship in GI at the Nassau County Medical Center, NY in 1995. He has also served as president of the New London County Medical Association.
Ashan Manohar, MD, FACG, AGAF
Gastroenterology Dr. Manohar is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an active member
of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American
Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He received his medical degree from the University of Natal
Medical School, South Africa prior to completing his Internal Medicine residency training at the
St. John's Episcopal Hospital, NY in 1996 and his Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Division of
Gastroenterology at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center, Brooklyn, NY in 1999.
Abera H. Abay, M.D.
Gastroenterology Dr. Abay is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an active member of
the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Abay
received his medical degree from the Addis Adaba University in Ethiopia prior to completing both
his residency and Fellowship in GI at the Beth Israel Medical Center, NY in 2002.
Shivani Sood, MD, MPH
Gastroenterology
Dr. Sood is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She is a graduate of the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. She also obtained a masters degree from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University in NY. Dr. Sood completed her interal medicine training at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI and served as a post-doctoral fellow at the North Shore University Hospital, NYU School of Medicine in Manhasett, NY.
Sunita Sidhu-Buocore, MD
Gastroenterology Dr. Buonocore is a graduate of St. George's University in Grenada. She completed both her internal medicine residency and GI fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr. Buonocore is board-certified in internal medicine and board-certified in Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association.
